Rainbow After the Storm——Long Running Competition Kenbotong 2010

6/29/2010 On the 23rd of June, 2010, 5pm, the whole KBT staffs participated in a spectacular 2,500 meters long running.

First was women’s competition, at the moment of beginning, 27 athletes started to run together. They looked free and ease, and full of confidence. But, unexpectedly, it began to rain in the middle of the competition. This unforeseen rain became the obstacle; all the athletes were wet from head to toe. However, even though in this bad situation, they did not gave up, run forward and ignored the rain. Finally, every one of them reached to the finish line. Among them, Shangyue Wu was the first, Huafeng Huang and Fufen Chen got the second and the third place separately.

Men’s competition followed the women’s competition, you could see that these 73 male athletes were energetic, and itched to try. The position and confidence they showed were no less than the women athletes. What worth mentioning was that the President of the company—Jian Qiu, the Deputy General Manager—Maosheng Song, the Admin Supervisor—Changlin Feng and the Chief Engineer—Guangjian Su, they all participated in this competition, running with other athletes and made a good example to all of us. Some of our athletes were injured because of the wet and slippery ground; however, they stood up and kept running to the finish line. The first five were Yonglue Xie, Penlin Yu, Yiyun He, Binquan He and Zehui Liang.

The competition was end, the rain stopped and the sky was blue again, we all smiled happily and proudly, like a rainbow across the sky. These spirits of never giving up, never surrender, never be discouraged, and persisting till the end are the powerful force of improvement and development of the company.
